The ring is made of solid brass and is easily adjustable.  I hand soldered the embellishment to the ring and add patina to finish.  The inside of the ring is sealed with a jewelry grade sealer.  Please note due to the nature of the metal, even though it is sealed multiple times, there is a possibility it may turn your green while wearing.  It is not harmful.
 
The ring is not waterproof.  Do not shower or swim while wearing.
